Jason was youngest of seven boys living in a 3 bedroom house in motor city of Detroit. His mother (an immigrant from Poland), god bless her soul, had the most problems with Jason, since he was a bit different from all the rest. She had to enroll him into a "special" school that would only take boys of his demeanor.

After a couple of years, his family moved to Atlanta for a better opportunity. That's where Jason attended high school (Stockbridge). In high school, he was the butt of all the jokes and never got that date he wanted to the senior prom. But as his last days as a high school student whined down he made this vow...that if he gets into college he would reinvent himself. In 1999, Georgia Southern gave him that chance. At GSU, he majored in Exercise Science and played rugby. He never really opened up a book, but he loved the sport of Rugby. Rugby didn't make him any brighter not that he was bright in the first place. His fellow team mates even noticed his intellectual disability, and bestowed him with the nickname "Polish”, which only led him to more deviant behavior.

One evening at a local fraternity gathering, an intoxicated frat boy teased Polish and called him a “Sword fighter”. Polish was very confused at the moment, but it seemed the frat boy was referring to his beloved country, Poland. This steamed Polish. But in the mist of all the activity at the social gathering, there were competitions among the frat boys. Polish took a gander and the competition involved eating.  Knowing that he came from a family of seven boys, he was very confident in his ability, he challenged the frat boy to zucchini eating contest, and absolutely crushed him.  As everyone cheered for the triumphant Polish, the love from the crowd sealed his name as, The Polish Love.

But now living in Pittsburgh, he is still in search of his high school dream to reinvent himself again to become a champion among men within the US competitive eating community. Good bless the people of Pittsburgh.
